Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to the Millbrook Gun Club, Inc. (“MRGC”) portal and facilities. By accessing our portal, attending our grounds, or participating in club events, members and guests agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service, the Club Bylaws, and all posted facility safety rules.
2. 501(c)(7) Organization Purpose
MRGC is organized as a private non-profit social and recreational club under Section 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is centered on wildlife habitat conservation, safe and responsible recreational shooting sports, hunter safety education, and environmental protection in New York State.
3. Club Rules & Safety Guidelines
All members and visitors must strictly observe safety protocols at all times while on club property:
- Always adhere to the universal rules of firearms safety and Range Officer instructions.
- Eye and ear protection are mandatory on all active ranges.
- No alcoholic beverages or intoxicating substances are permitted on any active range or prior to shooting activities.
- Members are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of ranges and properly disposing of spent hulls and targets.
4. Guest Requirements & Policies
Club members in good standing may host guests under the following conditions:
- All guests must sign a club liability waiver and register with the club upon arrival.
- Guests must be accompanied and directly supervised by an active host member at all times.
- The host member is fully responsible for the conduct, safety, and compliance of their guests.
5. SMS & Mobile Messaging Terms
By opting into club notifications, members and guests agree to receive automated event reminders and billing notifications. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time.
Program Description: MRGC offers optional mobile text messaging alerts for event reminders, range work day schedules, urgent weather closures, and membership billing notifications.
Opt-Out & Support: You may cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP. After texting STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further text messages will be sent. For help, reply HELP or email secretary@millbrookgunclub.org.
Carrier Disclaimer: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of membership or purchase.
6. Membership Dues & Annual Work Commitments
Members are subject to annual membership dues and work hour requirements in accordance with their member classification (Probationary, Owner, Senior, Honorary). Failure to fulfill annual work hour requirements will incur standard shortfall assessments as set forth in the Club Bylaws.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MRGC, its officers, directors, and members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of club facilities or services.
8. Modifications & Inquiries
